The Wrong Decision I Made Out Of Boredom.

Boredom is simply the state of loneliness. Most of the time boredom stems from the act of being idle. There are times I get bored when I have nothing to engage myself with. It's always a serious one for me whenever I'm idle. Technology has made life so easy that whenever you get bored, you can go online and view content online.

For someone like me, scrolling through pages online seems like a waste of time for me except if those contents are educative. I always love being productive with my time and this is why i always plan my day but yet their are days that things might not went as planned which result to being bored.

I remember few years ago, I relocated from from one state to another. At that point in time I had to quit my job and start a new phase entirely. It wasn't an easy phase for me. I was already used to my 8am to 5pm Job. But when I moved into this new environment, it was a different one, I had to start looking for jobs. It actually a new place for me, I'm just like a stranger. Adjusting to my new environment was quite difficult because I had no friends. At first I was still coping because there is electricity. So whenever there is light, I could watch my favorite TV programs which was a means for me to keep myself busy.

After few months of living back and forth with this way of life. Our transformer got spoilt and there was no light for months. I had to go and look for where to charge my lamps and phones. It wasn't a good experience at all. I was so bored because I had no one to talk to. I live in an environment where everyone mind their business, so it was not easy for me to socialize with people.

So one fateful day, I was so bored because I have been at home all day and my phone was off because there was no light to charge the phones. Fortunately, my neighbour switched on his generator that night, I was so excited because I saw it as a privilege to step out of the house and chat with my neighbor and also charge my phone.

I rushed in to dress up and went straight to my neighbours house. It's always a culture for me to knock before opening anyone's door but that night I forgot to knock. I went straight to my neighbours gate and enter with excitement. As soon I stepped into the compound I saw two creatures running towards me, it was actually dark and I couldn't see clearly, could this creatures be goat? Before I could think straight, the two dogs have attacked me, they grabbed my skirt and torn it into pieces. It was indeed a bad day. I was screaming for help but no one could here me because of the noise of the generator. I ran out of the compound without looking back. It was really a great mistake for me. Ever since then I never stepped into anybody's compound without notifying them first.

Shortly after the incident, I got a job and our light was restored back. But whenever I remember that incident I do laugh because it's really a funny one, I never thought I could ran like that, it wasn't a delightful one to behold.
