THE DRIVER’S SEAT
In you we tested our hope for giving you our share of support
To drive us to the bus-stop of fortune in a better Country;
This for us was of no regret
Because we know under you, like others have said our destiny is free from hanging on failure's tree.
In our Nation many Bosses we have seen,
Who wore the suit of a Politician to beguile us,
But, in you we see leadership trait resides
Alongside your pure heart that for us pump no false scene.
Maybe because you told us of your real intention -
To steal from us and loot our treasure
But, we knew to the right path you would divert your mission
Just the way other Bosses diverted to another path for their own pleasure.
You told us it is time for someone else to eat the money -
The first person to reveal bad intention and motive
But, you swerved from your bad promise and provide us honey,
The opposite of what our past Bosses done to portray us as the real thief.
You have made us known if one is to command our driver's seat,
Tales of lies one must say about the destination
But, you dissolved us from the forever doom chair we thought we were born to sit
And wheel our destiny far from a doom street to flex in a better nation.
