Indian railway.
Indian Railways have come a long way when it comes to food in transit, but the passengers haven't. This picture is recent but it reminds me very much of my childhood, when the whole family would actively hold a feast in the train. Even though we were travelling there would be no compromises in the courses of our meals. There would be multiple curries, multiple kinds of breads, rice and more. A train is not a mere journey but a small phase of life itself, wherein when the trip was long, you saw habits and culture emerge. The meals were a big part of that. This picture is special because the varied colour of garments matches the variety of foods.
