These little dry flowers remind me of Roger Dean's art and Yes album covers

It's a bit of a stretch I suppose but that's the feeling I got when I was sitting down and taking the photos. There are a few that have roughly this flower shape.

It's never been green here this time of year before

I've never seen green grass here this time of year. Usually it is extremely dry and dusty. We rarely get rain in the summer and it usually doesn't get green here

End of summer color in Naples California

This is in a neighborhood called the Costa de Ora - The Gold Coast, and it seems rather fitting. It's just a tiny little of strip of garden. The houses are big boxes
