Today I would like to share one of my most awesome catches to date, the Cobia or also known as Prodigal Son. These strange looking fish are the only members of the

Mystery fish eats my bait while snapper fishing.

Took a trip with a few friends and we gathered up some bait and ran offshore. Twenty miles out was our destination and the spot was a rockpile in 60 ft of water.

Wife caught her a nice 57.7 lb. cobia!!!! We caught a few more in low 50lbs range. Fresh blackened cobia was awesome. And filled the freezer up.
