The Orchid That Finally Bloomed
Hi all, just wanted to share a short fluff piece because I'm jazzed that an Orchid that I was entrusted by my mother a few years back when they emigrated to New Zealand finally bloomed!
Here's a 3-Day lapse of the flower bud bursting out:
Day 1 - I was overjoyed to see that the Orchid was ready to pop and snapped a picture before it bloomed. Put it in a sunny spot on my dining room table and gave it some more water to give it that last push to bloom.
Day 2 - Hello, beautiful! The flower came through and showcased a lovely spattering of pinks and reds that was a joy to see when I woke up in the morning.
Day 3 - The petals flattened out and the flower had fully bloomed. Looking forward to the next few flower buds bursting out too. May share some pics when they all pop!
