Both of the units featured in the picture above were removed from the game and put into the Legends category, where they can be used for casual games but not for tournaments... and now they are back.

Much like how disney does not always need to create a brand new story, an existing story can be re-created. In this case, the galaxy is a big place and i includes units and models of armor and vehicles that have been around in excess of 10,000 years... just because GW decided to remove a unit from the line-up does not mean that they were all killed off.

More like: The existing sculpts and molds have become archiac and needs a refresh.e

In the case of the Imperium it is so... what about the Orks? You think they stopped using the Wartrakk for some reason? Nope!

But they cannot very well sell you the old Land Speeder or Wartrakk today and tomorrow discontinue it and launch a new refreshed model for it.

So they remove it for a while... then let the old supplysell out, let an edition or two of the game cycle on and THEN bring them back in.

This way existing players can enjoy the return of an old favourite and new players can enjoy the addition of something that is new to them but part of the history of the game.

Therefore... I look forward to all the Space Wolf Characters that was removed to return... including the mounted ones. And Long Fangs... and various other units.

Launch a new Inquisator Karamazov... new Vostroyans, etc etc etc
