Been at it again at the docks - HVAC Worklife

Hello everyone!

Yeah that's me and my filthy and torn overall after work yesterday.

So we are busy and there is a lot of work to do... but there also seems to be an issue when it comes to having money to pay for the labor on jobs... that's rather strange...

Anyway, I have been working hard. Due to money issues from this client, I am now the Site Supervisor/Health and Safety Officer/Technician on site and I have been working most of the week with a single assistant.

On Wenesday I had one Technician with me and the rest of the time I have had lots of phone calls about recourse distribution.

Anyway... I don't want to get into it. Check out some photos!

The dirty overall: The fat guy (me) had to crawl inside of the machine to loosen the bolts from underneath.

Here is one fan and motor we needed to disassemble.

Here is another fan and motor we had to disassemble. The motor what quite big...

... but the fan was even bigger and we could not just remove it from the AHU housing. Nor would it have fit through the door of the plantroom.

So we simply cut it up.

Spot quiz!

If we did not cut the fan in half with a grinder, what tool did we use to cut it up? (We had to cut both the thick bracket parts as well as the body metal pieces.)

Thank you for reading this post!

Cheers!
