Ukraine Omicron stats are startling.
Man I've seen the Omicron stats in every jurisdiction it hits be absurd, but every time it floors me how contagious it is.
Ivano-Frankivsk is now at 96.1 per 100k hospitalization rate. A week ago it was half that. Oxygen bed utilization is not as bad as it was in prior waves, but is getting progressively higher. Now at 51.7%.
Chernivtsi oblast is also worsening. The hospitalization rate is now up to 68.5.
While still not in the danger zone, Lviv oblast has seen a rapid rise in its hospitalizations as well. Doubling in a week.
