Avoidable Covid deaths.
A study of COVID deaths per 100k and total mortality during a time period including the Omicron wave. It looks at mortality well after vaccines were widely available, and ends in March of this year.
If COVID deaths were being flagged perfectly, the blue bar would be just a bit longer than the black bar, because a few of the people killed by COVID would have died anyway. A blue bar much shorter means missed cases, much longer means over-reporting.
Since this is in the post vaccine period, it mostly shows needless deaths. Look at how the US ranks, and the dramatic split between our most and least vaccinated states. Such a tragic waste.
