This book is so incredibly heavy, I feel somewhat bad being one of the people who suggested it (perhaps there were no others).
Chapter 1
I am enjoying learning from the book. It goes over things I had not known previously, and though morbid, a very intriguing and capturing way of learning about the start of psychiatry. When it gave an example of a standard textbook at the time I was shouting out "Holy shit!"
Chapter 2
I really enjoyed the critique about how medicine has been used almost as a replacement for all other treatments, such as therapy, and that it doesn't actually cure the cause of the issues. I also like how the author is explaining the reasons for it as well. It makes sense why it has become that way.
Chapter 3
I really enjoyed the scientific explanations of how the brain and body experiencing trauma
