Behind the Raw Cut - KickFlip at Freedom Square (Vabaduse Väljak) with Iago Bresciani

Since I moved to Estonia in 2017, I always had the idea of doing an ollie at this spot. A few years later, I started thinking about landing a kickflip there (Vabaduse Väljak, Tallinn, Estonia), even though I had never attempted anything like it. Because of my dancing job, I couldn't take the risk back then. Now in 2024, after skating more regularly for the past three years (since I quit my job), I decided it was time to go for it. When Surfhouse.ee announced an Instagram challenge for the best kickflip at any spot, with a Baker deck, shirt, and hat as the prize, it felt like the perfect opportunity—plus, I could use free board xd

I reached out to Rainer, an OG Estonian filmmaker, and told him about my idea. He was super excited, and we made a plan to get it done. Luckily, everything went smoothly, and I even threw in a few extra tricks since it was my first time filming with a professional in Estonia. I made sure to make this one count!
