Cioran and the train dilemma

Cioran and the train dilemma....
The age-old moral question
The Dilemma of the Countries... Ethics.

The train dilemma or the train paradox is a thought experiment in ethics and the general form of the problem is:
There is a train carriage moving towards five people who are tied up or unable to move and lying on the track. That means the train track. You are standing near the lever that controls the railway switch. If you pull the lever, the carriage will continue on the other secondary track. Five people will be saved on the main track, but there is only one person. Extended on the secondary path, you have two options:
The first option is to do nothing and allow the car to kill five people on the main track.
The second option is to pull the lever, turn the cart to the secondary track and you will kill one person.
Which of the two options is more ethical, along with an explanation for your choice?
