The Neighborhood Hive

I saw the above window sign while driving on 2100 South in the Sugarhouse District of Salt Lake. The sign reads "Help The Hive Thrive" by a group called The Neighborhood Hive

I had to stop and take its picture. After all, this is a Utah based business that wants wants the HIVE blockchain to thrive.

Well, that's probably not what they meant. About a quarter of the businesses in Utah use some derivation of the term "hive" in their name. Very few people in the state know about the HIVE blockchain.

The Neighborhood Hive is running a Kickstarter campaign that ends on June 27 to raise funds to open a shop that will sell coffee, skin care products and local goods. They have raised 10K of a 47K goal. I will probably try to contact the group. They might find the HIVE blockchain to be a good marketing tool.
