Jeromy's Story

My name is Jeromy Bilbrey. I have lived here in Columbus, Indiana all 43 years of my life. Yes, there is a Columbus in Indiana. Many people haven’t heard of it. It’s the hometown of Vice President Mike Pence. As a matter of fact, my mom babysat for Vice President Pence when he was a little boy. That’s just a little side story here.

I’m a single father to my teenaged son, Noah. We live with my parents at this time, and we have formed a great little Hebrew roots group in our home. At this present time, our group is just the four of us. We do our Shabbat together on Friday nights through Saturday. On Friday night, my dad reads Proverbs 31 over my mom, and she reads Psalm 1 over him. I give the blessing over Noah. We study our Torah lesson and discuss it as we go. That’s our little group.

I grew up in the Christian church, and I've heard the Bible stories all my life. It wasn't until the last few years that the stories of Yeshua started coming to life for me through the Hebrew roots of the Bible. I have wanted to find a better way to get the stories out to people.

When I originally discovered the Yeshua Groups through Izzy, I didn’t look into it much. Recently, when I looked at it again, it clicked for me. I know my son Noah needs to have more connection with the stories of Yeshua, so I tell the stories to him. As I tell the story, I record a video of it for my Facebook friends. I want to get Yeshua's stories out to everyone I can. Hopefully, my Yeshua Group will grow in time. I look forward to getting to know all of you. From what I’ve seen, this is a great group of people, and I am thankful to be a part of this with you. God is good all the time. Shalom!
