PERO ANTES DE EMPEZAR, TE HAGO LA SIGUIENTE PREGUNTA:

¿De cual reto de ilustración habla si no hay ninguno en #Hive?

Bueno, hace cómo dos semanas o mas, la genial @paolazun lanzó un reto de ilustración en esta plataforma, que según estos retos se realizan los meses de mayo de cada año relacionado con las sirenas, hay que dibujar una cada día, mas o menos al estilo del inktober, para hacerlo menos complicado posible solo colocó para hacer un dibujo en cada semana, para un total de 4.

Les cuento que me confundí y con las ganas de comenzar ya combiné el primero con el tercero y cuando estaba por finalizar vi que me faltaba el Octopus, así que traté mas que corregir quise darle otro enfoque, para que se viera una obra con mas vida: Sirena con su pez #koi y luego el #octopus que venía para la segunda semana.
Mejor les explico de manera mas visual.🤦‍♀🤷‍♀

MATERIALES:

1. Papel (yo uso mayormente reciclaje para practicar) si tienes tu block de dibujo mucho mejor.

2. Portaminas con mina 0.5 o lápiz.

3. Borra.

4. Rapidograf o marcador de punta muy fina: marrón, negro, azul y verde. Todos de la marca Artesco.

5. Marcador fino negro No. 34, marrón No.29, naranja No. 07, verde claro No.26, todos de la marca Kores.

6. Marcadores de punta gruesa marca Sharpie, negro.

7. Creyones: naranja, marrón, amarillo, azul, rojo, morado, beige o nude todos de la marca Paper Mate.

8. ¡Motivación!

PROCESO DE DIBUJO:

Las escamas me volvían loca, en una de esas sentí que estaban jugando a la vieja, estaba pensando mucho, analizando, decidí definitivo olvidarme de la perfección para entrar en el juego de cómo sería una sirena, agregando textura diferente con triángulos a los lados y solo dejar escamas en el centro, por cierto en cuanto al color investigué un poco sobre los Peces Koi ¡Son una belleza! ¡Tan variados! me decidí por el color naranja, algo de rojo y un toque de color negro.

El cabello azúl sería el mar, los ojos debian hipnotizar y unos labios sensuales,para ello busqué un maquillaje de fantasia en revistas, un collar de perlas pero salió algo rígido (hay que prácticar) por cierto, quise mostrarla sentada en una ostra pero al final no le di importancia a ese detalle...

Cuando creo haber terminado me doy cuenta que debía hacer el pulpo y un pez koi para mayor referencia, ni idea cómo dibujar un pez así que lo hice cómo el signo infinito y al final quedó asi.

AHORA VIENE LA PARTE DIGITAL

Resulta que cada día aprendo a manejar mas mi genial teléfono Redmi 7A y ahí edité para colocarle brillos, texto de lo que sería el título y la firma, luego lo lleve a la aplicación de Photoshop Express Movil ahí encontré un filtro llamado Koi y luego agregué la superposición mas acorde dando como resultado final esta maravilla:

Hello my people, this time I come with something different, with an illustration challenge that I liked and surprised me, it's good sometimes to get out of the comfort zone and do something different, I hope you like it like me.

BUT BEFORE I START, I ASK YOU THE FOLLOWING QUESTION:

What illustration challenge are you talking about if there is none in #Hive?

Well, about two weeks ago or more, the great @paolazun launched an illustration challenge on this platform, which according to these challenges are made the months of May each year related to the mermaids, you have to draw one every day, more or less in the style of Inktober, to make it less complicated possible only placed to make a drawing in each week, for a total of 4.

I list below in order of ideas how it should be:

• Koi fish

• Octopus

• Floral mermaid

I got confused and with the desire to start I combined the first with the third and when I was about to finish I saw that I was missing the Octopus, so rather than correcting I wanted to give it another approach so that it would look work with more life: Mermaid with her #peceskoi and then the #octopus that was coming for the second week. I'd better explain in a more visual way 🤦🤷.

MATERIALS:

1. Paper (I mostly use recycled paper for practice) if you have your own sketchbook, all the better.
2. Mechanical pencil with 0.5 lead or pencil.
3. Eraser.
4. Rapidograph or very fine tip marker: brown, black, blue and green. All Artesco brand.
5. Black fine marker No. 34, brown No.29, orange No. 07, light green No.26, all Kores brand.
6. Sharpie brand thick-tipped markers, black.
7. Crejones: orange, brown, yellow, blue, blue, red, purple, beige, or nude all Paper Mate brands.
8. Motivation!

DRAWING PROCESS:

At first I thought it was easy, that I would get the silhouette in a moment but no, I was wrong, I erased it several times because nothing fit me, neither the guide lines nor the extremities, so I stood up for a while and then I sat down again and let myself go, so I got a sitting figure, delimiting at the same time the bust, waist, and hips, finally instead of legs and feet I turned them into a fishtail.

The scales drove me crazy, I was thinking a lot and analyzing, and I decided to forget about perfection to get into the game of how a mermaid would look like, adding different textures with triangles on the sides and only leaving scales in the center, by the way as for the color I did some research on the Koi Fish They are a beauty! So varied! I went with orange, some red and a touch of black.

The blue hair would be the sea, the eyes should hypnotize and sensual lips, for this I looked for a fantasy makeup in magazines, a pearl necklace but it came out a little stiff (you have to practice) by the way, I wanted to show her sitting on an oyster but in the end, I did not give importance to that detail...

When I think I'm done I realize I should do the octopus and a koi fish for reference, I have no idea how to draw a fish so I also did some research to get an idea, I did it as the infinity sign, and in the end, it looked like this.

NOW COMES THE DIGITAL PART

It turns out that every day I learn to handle my great Redmi 7A phone and there I edited to place glows, the text of what would be the title and signature, then I took it to the application Photoshop Express Mobile there I found a filter called Koi and then added the overlay more accordingly giving as a final result this wonder:

Thanks, Pao, I really enjoyed every step of the process, I hope to complete the rest of the challenge, but I think it will be in June we'll see hahaha! I take the opportunity to invite @alarconr22.arte, @frankches, and @gabsartbook are so different styles each that it would be great to see them in this challenge, besides it is very important that we support each other illustrators!
