WE124: Willing to give up my life for my son.
Once you became a mother you can do everything for your children...
I always heard this line back when I was younger. I heard it on a television series and even in other mothers on our place. The love of a mother is really unconditional and way back I didn't understand it fully. Now that I am now a mother I can fully understand and feel it. The love of a mother to thier children is immeasurable.
Would you ever give your life so that someone else may live?
This is the question that I choose on weekend engagement 124 initiated by .
From the moment I knew that I was pregnant I got in love with my little one. I feel so blessed having him and wanting all the best for him even if he's still on my womb. As a pregnant woman and a first time mom I have a lot of worries regarding my pregnancy. I have lot of what ifs and thinking of worst case scenario because of things that has happened on other pregnant woman. They say if a woman gave birth her other feet is on the grave as it's not easy to gave birth. There are some scenarios that the doctor asked the husband when something happened and the question is who's the one you want to save , the baby or the mother. If that moment happened I am wholeheartedly willing to gave up my life for my son.
Everytime my son was not feeling well I always asked God if he can transfer all the pain of my son to me. Every time I saw my son cried because of pain, I am also inpain in double. Once you became a mother your life is not yours anymore as you need to consider a little one who's depending on you.
It's been 4 years since I gave birth and my son is now a toddler. If people ask me the question over and over again I will answer the same.
Mothers love is unconditional and I know all of the mother's here will do everything for thier children including giving up thier life just to make them live.
