Beer Saturday: I needed it
Was a heavy day. I have some shit hovering around in my head that I try to clear up keeping me busy all day in my business (@parsarri) but the night come and that apparently doesn´t work. I still was tense and some kind of angry.
In that circuntances I have to decide if keep in home and try to watch a TV serie or go out and walk and listen music in some bar for a while. At least until I was tired or relaxed enough to go home to sleep.
After a brief period of reflection I go out to a new ¨bar¨ close of my house. There was three brands of beer, two of them foreing, but I chose the national.
Now, I have to say it, my prefer cuban beer is the Bucanero, but here only have Cristal. Cristal (accented in the a) in opinion of a lot of people is the favorite brand of beers in Cuba. I recognize that is good, but I prefer black or brown beers with his little flavour of malt. Now, returning to Cristal. This is a blond beer with a 4.5 alcohol degrees that makes it soft to the taste. They comen in cans or bottles of 355 milliliters, curiously in this bar the bottles cost less than cans (7% approximately). This was a win for me, because in my opinion, beer that come in glass bottles retain the flavor better.
The night flow with the music and the conversation, yes, I arranged to convince a friend to meet me there. Let´s be honest, beer with a friend alwys taste better.
So, for a moment that heaviness in my head disappear and I was able to relax for a bit.
Close to 12 am, o a little pass that hour I was ready to go home and have a nice sleep (wich I did). Maybe is not so much, but this was my Saturday Beer, and I have to say it, I really needed it and it helps.
Now I invite you to share your story about your #BeerSaturday.
