Great Anime Recommendation!

And that anime is called "Neon Genesis Evangelion"!

There really isn't a way I can describe it. It is a mecha anime, but rest assured this isn't for "little kids". This is actually psychologically depressing, explores the themes of human consciousness, and it is so popular in Japan that some even compare it to how Star Wars are in the west! The director of this movie had depression when making this anime, so it is very depressing.

If you want to watch it, this is the correct order:

1. Neon Genesis Evangelion
2. The End of Evangelion(movie)
3. Rebuild films

Neon Genesis Evangelion due to various circumstances couldn't make episodes for an ending, so the ending there isn't complete. End of Evangelion finishes the series. The rebuild movies are a newer version of the series, it has better animation and is different from the original series. 3 out of 4 movies have been released. The first one is almost like the first few Neon Genesis Evangelion episodes, but 2 and 3 are completely different! The fourth movie is in the making, but it should hopefully be out this year(please please please).
