Good evening and happy start of the week, dear Hivers!!!

Now, as I promised in the post before last night’s one: here’s the second version of the design I created for the game @RadaQuest.

This piece was even more difficult than the previous one because of all the complexity I decided to add... I wanted to play with movement and perspective, along with the background, creating a composition that gave me quite a headache. But after many days, I finally managed to finish it.

And well, dear community, here is -=Yureina (Whispering Shadow)=- in both of its versions... Now, which one do you prefer? Or better yet, which one do you like more between the two?

I started with a bunch of messy lines that I gradually cleaned up along the way. There was nothing understandable at first, just a rough idea of how this design would take shape... In fact, I first worked on the background, or at least what would be of it, before everything else.	After tidying up the character’s lines a bit and cleaning the canvas, I started adding color. Nothing too special, just base colors, following the first design as a guide to get a better idea—this time, though... adding the volume that colors brought to my sketch.

At this stage, something that took me a really long time again was trying to do the Japanese calligraphy decently. After that, I started detailing my design.	With the first design as a reference, I moved much faster. Besides refining the details, I polished the body, the dress design, and gave the face a cleaner look compared to the previous steps.
