Hello, hello, hello, and hello, my dear community!!! 😘

Back again with you all! This time, I want to show you another design I created for @radaquest. After several thumbnails to clear my ideas, I focused (or rather, I got interested) in creating something with a more Asian touch specifically Japanese.

I love Japanese culture YEAH! and their way of being... So much so that if I had the money, I’d move there without thinking twice. But nahhh, money and I don’t get along very well… it wants to go its way, I want to go mine, and we never meet. 😁😁😁

Anyway, after many attempts because if you’ve never drawn in that style before, the day you try it for the first time, it’s crazy hard getting that resemblance to artists from that part of the world is complicated. But nahhh, I gave it a shot, and I’m satisfied, not 100%, but little by little, I’ll keep improving.

The thing is, today I wanted to introduce you to -Yureina (Whispering Shadow) - This is the first design, and if I have time, I’ll show you the second version of this same character tomorrow.

Base version: Increases attack/defence power by 5%
Extended version: Increases attack/defence power by 10%

I started with the values to define the pose. Although later I changed it several times until I found the one I liked the most. I also did a quick sketch without too much detail of the clothes and hair.	At this stage, I had already started refining things a lot more, even the face looked clearer. Though it went through several changes along the way because I kept tweaking things that didn’t quite convince me.

I scaled it down a bit because it was way too big, and I needed space for everything else. At this point, I had already started adding some color and included the scroll, which works as a soul seal. The outfit was also getting more detailed.	Here comes the color for the dress! I also changed the skin tone and started playing a bit more with lights and shadows on the body. I hadn't worked much on the background until now, as I was adding things little by little, like the shape that was understood as the tree

And here came more changes, basically to the whole design… I modified the facial features again, refined the hair, and adjusted the dress details. I also tweaked the scroll a bit.	Hmmmmmm for now, the hairstyle details were done, and I had finished everything missing on the dress. Just a few final touches left to call it completely done.
