Mortis Maledictum
Hey there! Good evening or good morning, depending on where you are!
Today I'll show you my entry for the Rada Quest Art Contest! 🎨 this is the third edition of it, I missed the previous one but I hope not this one.
For my entry I wanted to create a new character, the world of Radaquest is quite vast with different characters and 
I've been working in Ps because with so many power outages, I can't use Corel, it would give me a headache to lose the work every time and not be able to recover it. So better in a slightly safer zone, I made a video for this drawing, but I'll probably edit it later when I have time.
SOME STEPS
I made a sketch of what I wanted to do, or at least an idea of it, the lines aren't perfect and I didn't bother to improve them, but they would be useful for what I need. The background would be a portal or something similar, I used the same brush but bigger.

With some shades of gray, not so pure since I used beige and brown in the background, well using those colors, I added some values and volume to the piece, this would help me get a better idea of some lights and shadows. In the background, I made some progress, detailing the column and the doors a bit more.

After some adjustments, and well, I didn't want to spend too much time in the gray area, I moved on to what would be the base colors, which I did by making some changes with "Curves". For the background, I wanted something warmer since she might come from hell in a way.

One thing I did was to leave the lines even while I recorded the video, they were there all the time, and in the end, I gradually removed them, although underneath things were detailed enough to remove them, but it also worked for me to do something else on the skin, so I'm glad I didn't delete it.

As I progressed, I detailed things more, and I also removed the lines, so the body could be seen better without so many strange lines, there were still some things to do as I worked, but I was liking how it was turning out.

Even though I had made progress on the body and we were closer with the face and the rest, there were still some details I needed to do, so I got to work on them, I made some hoops and also recycled some things from other old drawings.
