At that moment I want to show you a portrait that I did recently, I did it in Corel like lately, I've used some new things, I've learned some other shortcuts and the best thing I think is the best part of this is that I liked doing it.

I think that at the end of the day it is one of the most important things, if we don't like what we do, well, that is a little sad although I can understand very well that sometimes not everything is rosy😥 when you do something And that, in addition to being work, is what you like and u make it fun, everything is more pleasant.

This time I have not recorded the screen to make the video, the truth is that I am a little upset with that because in the last drawings I have to recover the video in several moments due to the electricity failure and it bothers me that sometimes it is not recovered otherwise it is damaged and I cannot recover so I lose the process. So since this was a simpler portrait I thought that without video it was fine.

This time, as in some others, I did not use the gray scale to start the portrait, this type of steps is not generally seen in my process because it is not that I need the lines, but I did want to clean up the sketch a little and the mess of lines that I had after that I started to give color directly with some tones that would be like the skin color.

Although I did the hair later I wouldn't do anything with it.

I have made the sketch layer a little more opaque since everything was very black so the way it turned out it didn't bother me so much, also what I did in this step was to make small fish that would accompany the girl a type of fish that I like a lot since the shape of their fins is quite peculiar and cute.

I have fixed a little the tones that I had previously and after having a clearer idea I began to do what the jellyfish would be. I had an unforeseen event with Corel, I don't know what happened but after a moment and Installing the program was solved, the only bad thing is that all the progress I had had in terms of the brushes since I had edited their names to know which ones I liked the most, since well the names are duplicated ahaaa, that was lost and now I must try them again to find out what they were.

I have made this jellyfish in layers, if you can call it that, I have placed some lights to make it look like those small details that jellyfish have, nothing so perfect but it does look a little bit like reality. I used several brushes to add some texture with a brush, some small lines that would be like the sketch where the jellyfish would be, the top layer and of course the hair would be hidden.

I have completed the jellyfish although there were still several details to place on it, I have used several brushes that added a nice touch of texture, it is a shame that it is lost, I would like to know how I can do so that everything I do stays and is not lost when the image be saved.

I have finished the lower layers, I have also made some small advances on the girl's face such as adding some shadows and highlights.

To finish I made the small fish, I hadn't worked on them from the beginning basically, I added some lights, accentuated the colors more, finished some more things and I had finished this jellyfish. I hope you liked my new work and I'll see you tomorrow, my dear Hivers!
