She was one of the reasons to delve deeper into music and gave me the courage I needed to face a stage, since I was too scared and nervous for it, I met her during her last 3 years of life and for me it was like that I have always had her with me, because she advised and supported me as if she were my mother, and her unconditional support was always present along with her beautiful smile that will never be erased from my mind. The song to be performed today, as the title says, I sang in memory of my beloved María Ruiz, since it was she who assigned me to sing it at the last Love and Friendship concert that took place in my city in the year 2020, just before the COVID pandemic ended many dreams in progress, and it was a total challenge for me where she never stopped encouraging me to continue. "Me vas a extrañar" is originally a Banda-type song, from a Mexican group called Banda MS, but which rose to fame thanks to a Mexican singer called Carolina Ross who He made a romantic, slow and soft cover of this song, turning it into a musical jewel and it is the version that is listened to the most, even more than the original, incredible... Don't you think? Well, today I sing it for you and first of all to my dear teacher María Ruiz who now takes care of me from above and lives in my heart for the rest of my life. Interpreting this song for me was not easy at all, almost with a lump in my throat I managed to do it on the third try, I hope you like my interpretation and until next time. Blessings for all!
