Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge - Fire and Regret

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands battle mage challenge for this week. I will be describing one of my battles with the given ruleset. I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account for all battles.

Battle Ruleset

Ruleset Icon	Description
	Even Stevens : Only monsters with even mana costs may be used in battle
	Back to Basics : Monsters lose all abilities
	Fire and Regret : All monsters have the return fire ability

These three rulesets meant that I could only use monsters who had an even mana. Monsters were also going to lose all abilities and attacks with ranged monsters would received half of the damage back.

For this battle, I chose the Immortalis summoner to allow me give my monsters the void and the shatter abilities. This also gave my all the enemy monsters -1 health.

Battle Tactics

Since none of the monsters were going to be able to use their special abilities, I chose monsters with high magic and health.

In first position, I selected Oaken Behemoth

I selected Fungus Fiend in second position.

In the third position, I selected Kron the Undying

In the fourth position I selected Magi of Chaos.

In the last position, I selected, Magi of the Forest.

Battle Details

Summoner buffs and debuffs took effect and the battle began with my enemy's third and first monsters attacking my first monster. The second, fifth and fourth monsters also attacked with their ranged attacks receiving a return damage of 1 each. Attacks from my first, third and last monsters killed my enemy's first monster.

The second round started and my enemy's second and third monsters killed my first. Attacks from my enemy's third and fourth monsters killed my Fungus Fiend who stepped into the first position.

My new first monster, Kron the Undying killed my enemy's first monster which made Djinn Oshanus step into the first position.

In round 3, my monsters killed my enemy's Djinn Oshanus. Magi of Chaos from my team killed the monster that stepped into the first position.

In round 4, I killed my enemy's remaining two monsters to win the battle.
