Big Data, Big Data Technology - Fintech Vlog
Hello lions, this is my entry to the adventure vlog quest for leofinance, fintech. In this video I will be talking about big data and big data technology.
Big data is huge amounts of data that cannot be processed and is difficult to strode through the traditional storage means or softwares for storage and processing. Big data is characterized into; volume, variety, variety, velocity and value.
Volume here means the amount of big data collected, variety is the different sources of the data, variety is the uncertainty related to data and the value is the useful form of the data. Velocity refers to how fast the data is collected, processed and stored.
Big data technology is the technology used to store and process these big data that cannot be done by the traditional software mechanism. Operational and analytical big data are the types of big data technology.
I give examples of these types in the video.
