EOS Account Hacks

According to recent research by Peckshield that looked a little deeper into the EOS platform, it appears that there has been an increasing number of phantom EOS accounts being created along with an increase in the number of hacking incidents. Despite more than 200 dApps being launched on EOS in the last 5 months, there is still yet to be a meaningful development that would inspire wider use besides the current gambling apps. The research has shown that at least 27 different EOS dApps have serious security issues, and due to security vulnerabilities, more than 400,000 EOS have been stolen. (JF)
