A Refreshing Start and a Rewarding End
Welcome back to my blog..
Today, I'd like to share a story of mine.
It's the day I woke up to a foggy morning.
You know the feeling that instantly puts you in a good mood.
Who would not be?
Imagine that you stepped outside, and you have this view...
Everything felt calm and fresh.
The air was cold.
Even the leaves upstairs have tiny drops of dew.
Can you imagine how refreshing the air is?
It's filled with moisture.
With that kind of start, I felt ready for the day ahead.
My schedule was to volunteer again at the Kingdom Hall.
We've all been encouraged to give our time whenever we can, especially now that the renovation needs to be completed on schedule.
That day, our task was to transfer soil into sacks and carry them to fill the deeper parts of the land.
The goal was to level the ground.
It was tiring, no doubt, but the kind of tiredness in a good way.
By snack time, there was plenty to enjoy.
There were ube biko, bibingka, and boiled bananas.
As for me, I went straight for the bananas.
It's just simple yet fills me fast, and gives me the energy I need to keep going.
Perfect for a day like that.
After resting for a while, we got back to work, finishing what we could before heading home.
It's tiring... Yes. But happy.
Knowing that even in small ways, I've contributed.
