We will never be happy in the future.
Being happy in the future is an illusion created by our minds.
We always think, or are certain, that there is something missing for us to be truly happy. We think we don't have what we need to be happy, and that it will come in the future.
Is there always something missing?
And is what we think we are missing really that important to condition us?
Are we always chasing after it?
The mind projects the salvation of our lives into the future. But the future is an illusion.
The future simply does not exist.
Has anyone ever been to the future? Has anyone ever lived in the future?
Only in works of science fiction do we see characters who have been to the future and “traveled” to the present.
But as much as this idea fascinates us, it seems that time is a mark that exists, and that only when we think in non-material terms, or think in quantum terms, do we have this ability to bend the timeline. Or at least it is mathematically possible to do so.
Are you going to live in the future?
No. It is not possible to live in the future.
Tomorrow we are not living in the future. We will be living in the present of “tomorrow.”
We live our lives always hoping that tomorrow will be better than today.
That is the great illusion. You will always live in the present.
The illusion of time.
You think that what you have experienced, what you have already experienced in the past, you will experience in the future. But we never leave this moment, which is eternity.
Eternity is now.
We are living eternity.
We often hear people say, “One day you will live in eternity”; but the truth is that we are already living in eternity.
The now is eternity. Time has no end.
And that is the reality.
