Spring colors in the city in the weekend - Urban exploration in Szolnok, Hungary (2022.04.24)

Yesterday the weather was rainy, and the temperature was around 10 °C, and it felt cold. Today it is sunny, and it is around 20 °C, and it feels pleasantly warm. Maybe even a little bit hot.

The weather can make interesting and even unexpected turns from one day to another.

I like walking in the city in the weekends. There are not many people in the city at this time of the week.

Not even in the parks.

Especially on Sundays.

The traffic is still visible.

But most parts of the city feels like as if I would walk in an abandoned city. In reality, around 70 000 people lives in this city.

But only a few people are walking in the city.

Mostly it is empty of people, but rich in spring colors. I love it.

Szolnok is not a big city, so this is not a big surprise. If more than 250 000 people would live in this city, then it would be a big surprise.

To some people, a population of around 70 000 people would rather feel like a small town, and not a county seat. But Szolnok is actually a county seat.

There are still many parts in this city, where it rather feels like as if I would be in a small town.

This fence somewhere along the way becomes covered with flowers and with plants. Beautiful.
