My daily routine on this finca so far (2025.08.14)

I arrived on this finca 17 days ago (on 2025.07.28) as a volunteer for accommodation and for food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) too.

After a little bit more than two weeks, I can say that I like this place.

I have four weeks in total to decide if this place is good for me for long term.

Of course I will decide it before the end of this month (2025 August).

So far my daily routine consists of two (morning and afternoon) shifts from Monday to Friday.

I wake up around 08:00.

I start working around 08:30 to around 11:00 in the gardens (with the garden team) (mostly I water plants).

This is my first (morning) shift.

We eat breakfast from around 11:00 to around 11:30.

I start working in the kitchen from around 12:00 to around 14:30 (with the kitchen team) (mostly I help preparing a part of the lunch, for example I make fruit salad, orange juice, etc).

This is my second (afternoon) shift.

We eat lunch from around 14:30 to around 15:00.

This finca is big.

There are many kinds of animals on this finca.

I meet the dogs and the cats every day.

Tonight one of the cats came to my wooden house accommodation, and he jumped up onto the chair in front of it, and then he went to the sunbed in front of the wood house accomodation of one of my friends, who is also a volunteer on this finca.

If this place will be good for me for long term, then an aviary for my Harris's hawk will be built on this finca too in the near future.

Probably around the end of this month (August), or in the beginning of the next month (September).

Hopefully this place will be good for me for long term.

We will see.
