How To Make Salt Coffee
I knew It may sound strange when you hear "salt coffee," but it is the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted. I first discovered about this coffee while studying in Hue. When I first heard about salt coffee, I thought, "What? Coffee with a salty flavor? "Why do they put salt in coffee?" But when I took a sip of salt coffee, I was like, "Oh my God," it tastes so good. And as far as I know, Hue is the birthplace of this coffee!
The taste of Salt Coffee is combined with a little bit of salty taste of salt, the fat taste of whipping cream, the bitter taste of coffee, and the sweetness of sweetened condensed milk are all combined to create a delicious taste that you'll never forget.
I'll show you how to make a cup of salt coffee in this post. Let's look at the tutorial to learn how to make it and enjoy it.
By the way, I'd like to mention that this is my first tutorial video, and I hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons ground coffee
- 30ml Sweetened condensed milk
- 50ml Whipping cream
- Boiling water
- 1-2 grams of salt
- Ice
Instruction
Preparing a cup and equipment to brew coffee. I use a Vietnamese coffee filter to brew coffee.
Place the filter in the cup and fill it with hot water to warm it up.
Remove the water from the cup and add 2 tablespoons of coffee powder (I use a different small spoon therefore I put 7 teaspoons of coffee)
Pour a little bit of boiling water how to wet coffee and brew in 1 minute. While pouring 30ml of sweetened condensed milk into the cup.
Close the cap after pouring half a filter of boiling water into it. Prepare the whipping cream while the coffee is brewing.
Prepare another cup and add 50ml whipping cream and a pinch of salt. Using a coffee whisk or egg beater, beat for 30 seconds.
After the coffee has finished brewing, use a spoon to stir the coffee and sweetened condensed milk together. Add some ice and pour the part of the whipping cream prepared earlier. That’s it, we have an awesome cup of salt coffee. Now, enjoy it.
