Zim is a graphical text editor used to maintain a collection of wiki pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting and images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and can have attachments.source

Zim is kinda different text editor which wants to bring concept of a wiki to your desktop. Each page would save in text file automatically with wiki markups. Zim has many wiki markups like Italic, Bold, bullets, lists etc. With Zim you can keep track of your to-do list, can organise your daily tasks and journals and much more.
