The Fruiting Stage: A Reward for Devotion

My pepper is at the fruiting stage. Hurray πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰. It is a combination of consistency and determination.

Remember that we carefully selected the best seedlings with high reproductive potential. I have also passed the nursery stage, where we added water to the crop, keeping it moist but not damp.

There, we mixed the soil with compost to preserve its integrity. The nursery was placed in a warm, partially shaded area. Germination to seedling care usually takes 7–14 days. Transplanting occurs at 4–6 weeks.

The maintenance stage is where many fail, but I tell you β€” it’s a devotion, okay? You can run pipes to your plant to keep it alive all through.

Now, we are at the flowering and pollination stage, as well as the fruiting stage, which comes about three months after transplanting. Natural pollination by wind is sufficient.

When the fruit is ripe, we can harvest it. Do not pull the pepper off β€” use a knife instead.

My experience from the beginning up till now is a product of grace.
Planting pepper is not only about watering; it takes consistency and determination to see the plant grow. There was a time I noticed that the pepper was turning yellow despite watering the plants. Later, I found out that the water wasn't penetrating through β€” though I was wetting it, it was a wasted effort. I got my cutlass ready, then tilled the soil to ensure adequate penetration of water into it. At last, the plant became green and beautiful.

Today, here is the same plant basking in the glory created by nature.

I am a little farming girl. If you like my work, you can upvote, and I will be there to do more of this.

Remember, farming is not only about wetting the plant β€” it involves a determined person who is ready to study and carefully diagnose his or her plant.
Thank you.
Thanks mattsanthoyit@mattsanthoyit and every farmer here.
