Mentari mencari sang penari
Dimanakah ia gerangan ?
Di peraduan persinggahan alam
Di sanalah mentari menyapa sang penari
Sang penari melenggok elok
Gamelan menggema di udara
Calung dan penabuh saling bersaut
Mentari terbuai rayuan sang penari
Ketika angin tenggara bertiup dingin
Menerpa lembut bunga-bunga kopi
Mentari meredup di langit barat
Sang penari kembali ke peraduan
Mentari terlelap dalam mimpi malam
Menunggu esok, menyapa sang penari
