Peranakan tiles: Design no. 4

Handmade porcelain masterpieces started their journey in the workshop. Once the pattern was decided and first base over, the coat fresh paint was needed.

For Peranakan people, only vibrant colors were an option, a great choice if I may add. Back in the day, the colorful tiles were very popular, and luckily these beauties aged well. High-quality pieces are favored to this day and not anymore just by the Peranakan.
