Wednesday Walk

Yesterday, Wednesday, I took a stroll from my house to my old primary and secondary school, Government Secondary School Akwanga South Angwan Kpandom. As a former student and games captain, I have fond memories of playing football and table tennis. I decided to visit my old friends who are footballers, and we had a great time reminiscing about old times.

After that, I took a walk to appreciate the wonders of nature in a neighboring environment. I was impressed by the agricultural work going on in the area. The farmers were hardworking, and I was told that this year's harvest would be bountiful.

Next, I walked to the Akwanga roundabout, where construction work is underway.

Our humble Governor of Nasarawa State is fixing the main road, and I was excited to see the progress. The road grinder was working on a double-length stretch, and it was impressive.

The workers were diligent, and I heard that the President of Nigeria even visited the site at Lafia to supervise the work. The structure and materials used in the construction were top-notch, thanks to the expertise of the engineers and quantity surveyors.

I met an Indian man overseeing the workers, and I was impressed by his work ethic and coordination skills.

After that, I visited my friend who sells phone accessories by the roadside. We had a great chat, and then I strolled to the main market.

I saw vendors selling corn, clothes, and other items. It was a fun-filled day, and I'm glad I got to catch up with old friends and see the progress in my community. What a wonderful day it has been!"
