New York Riesling

Wine from New York? YEAP. Who would of thought, well at least to someone on the opposite side of the country, and not that knowledgeable of the whole entire wine world. You be surprised to know they probably make wine in every US state, and every country, or at least most. But the big question is, is it any good??

This Dry Riesling was good! I would not say the greatest wine I ever had, but yes it is some good wine. I have not had many Riesling, so it is hard for me to compare. I did have a Semi dry Riesling from Oregon a while back, that was very good. Then I had a sweet Riesling from Germany, that I found to be nasty. Just not into sweet wines. But yes this one I highly enjoyed. Coming in at 13% . One thing I would like to note, is that this white wine was complete different then others I had, which I found to be interesting. So hats off to the winemaker, and the vine growers of New York. They are making unique wines, that are true to the varietal, I surely will be back again, CHEERS!
