What is Decaf Coffee?

Decaf coffee basically mean decaffeinated a regular coffee. It turns normal coffee caffeine into very less caffeine. Even though coffee is decaffeinated but it doesn't mean totally remove caffeine in the coffee, it just removes 95% of the caffeine coffee.

Why Decaf Coffee?

Some coffee lovers they might drink more than 3 cups coffee per day. For this case, decaf coffee might be suitable for them. Why? The reason being is we can't take too much caffeine per day and there is a limit for that. If we consume too many caffeine per day it will cause including dizziness, increased thirst, insomnia, headache, fever and irritability. Since I'm having a decaf coffee will I still manage to stay awake to do my work? The short answer is yes and no. Yes, as decaf still have a small amount of caffeine in the coffee. Another yes reason is when a person drinks a "decaf" coffee he/she actually get a placebo. What is placebo? Placebo is anything that seems to be a "real" medical treatment but isn't. How Do I Order Decaf Coffee?

This is pretty easy, just head to your local coffee shop/cafe and tell the barista that you want a decaf coffee and if they have it they will make for you. Otherwise, they will tell you they don't have. I tried to order decaf coffee in Starbucks Malaysia and they do have decaf coffee in the store. Some kind barista will ask you whether you are an allergy to caffeine and they will tell you decaf will have a small amount of caffeine the coffee.

How to Know My Coffee is Decaffeinated?

Short answer no. You hardly know the differences between normal caffeine coffee and decaffeinated coffee. The reason that is decaffeinated coffee will have the same taste, aroma, and flavour of caffeine coffee.
