Federal Reserves are reflective of government policies and the extent of their execution by the executive, which are politicians.
How and when the Politician administer financial fiscal and monetary policies determines the level of federal reserve!
It can be rightly conclude therefore that Politicians activities drives the directions of the federal reserve of any economy.
But if the instituted institutions designated to drives monetary policies are effective and independent as in some developed economies, the level of Politicians influence on Federal reserve will be minimised!!
