Hello, travelers! Another day, another adventure! I will share with you in this blog my seaside experience in our town, San Remigio, where the famous Lapyahan coast can be found, with stretches of fine beaches and powdery white sand resting on its very land. I have seen many beaches in this town, but never was able to see them in a closer look, nor give them the attention I need to notice them. Today, it was a really fun, vibrant day to experience a quiet retreat to the beach with my boyfriend and our dog, since we don't have a lot of things to do, considering it is Sunday. A slow, meaningful visit to the beach in Lapyahan coast saved us from boredom the whole day.

We wanted to go outside the house today since we were at the house for days now, since Friday, and never got the usual amount of sunburn for a long time. So we decided to go outside, and visiting the beaches in our town must be the best thing to do.

We visited first a karenderya near the Lapyahan beach to eat lunch and drink refreshing fruit drinks. And after eating such foods, we found ourselves in one cubicle, trying to guard each other while nature called us. It might sound ridiculous, but I need to give you some reason why we ended up walking and passing by a few beaches along the coast.

We started walking from Lapyahan to the south of the coast, like we are taking some serious kind of therapy after many responsibilities and overdues. We passed by different cafes, restaurants, and churches since we walked through the concrete path instead of the sand.

The first beach we learned that exists on this coast was Dakar Beach, which is quite familiar to me, but before this, it wasn't commercialized and opened for visitors and accommodations. Beside Dakar Beach, we found another beach corner that has no specific name on it, but we saw visitors and tourists installing tents and tables, with foods and celebrations making sounds with joyful music.

We then passed by Stefan Beach and Goopio Beach, which are also simple but quality beach resorts and corners on the coast. They are vibrantly built and look so welcoming that visitors from afar would get interested in entering them. What I liked about these beaches we passed by are the trees that surround or stand inside them, a reflection of how the owners really respect nature and try to preserve and use it for natural ambience.

Speaking of trees, after a long stroll, we then arrived at Tan Beach, where we stayed for three hours and swam around its water. What shocked us this day was the high tide of water that looked completely bigger than what we are used to witnessing. The water was completely thrice the level that when we tried to look from Tan Beach to Lapyahan Beach, there was no shore to walk on, and people needed to walk through the road if they wished to be dry upon arriving at selected resorts.

Tan Beach is also filled with coconut trees, and this perhaps made it a perfect relaxing spot for a simple seaside visit. The water was really at its peak, blue and turquoise, while the sun burned hot. The sea breeze was cool, the sand was relaxing, and the company was loving. The waves rolled in a steady rhythm, crashing along the shore, while the sunlight strucked across the surface of the water like scattered crystals. Coconut leaves moved gently above us as if the beach itself was quietly alive and breathing with us in that moment.

And as the day slowly came to an end, I realized that sometimes, the best kind of adventure does not need to be far or expensive. It can be found in near places like our hometown, in simple walks, and in moments shared with the people you love the most. Lapyahan coast, with all its quiet beauty and hidden corners, reminded me that there is always something new to discover, even in places we thought we already knew by heart.
