[Zingtober] Day 2: Discover
Holo Everyone!
Ellie had grown up, and she loved to explore. She discovered an ancient mural on her adventure inside a cave depicting an ancestor Miu being worshipped by all of the creatures.
This is inspired by the Egyptian paintings wherein they regard sphynx cats as a sacred breed.
✨Art Process✨
Sketch. I duplicated some of the creatures to make this faster.
Drawing the linearts using the textured brush to get the feeling that it was drawn on a rough surface.
Setting up the background with an airbrush and the foreground with a hard brush and some textures just to see how I initially imagined this piece to be.
Added more details and textures to make it look like a century-old mural. I also added some highlights and bounce lights to the grounds so the background and foreground can blend in together. I then exported this to the Lightroom app to adjust the contrast.
