100 degree session at Wilson • skatehive web-gnar GNARCHIVE
i like skating in the heat because you dont have to warm your muscles up.
i went to wilson skatepark alone and some of the local kids helped me film this edit.
i really struggled with the backside tailslide for some reason.
maybe it was because i havent pumped large banks in a while.
i went back to wilson like a week later to re-film the back tail and there were too many people there, but i met a guy who has a stange camera like the one that uses.
it is called a INSTA360 and it captures a spherical 360 degree image that you can then direct, with your phone, which parts of it you want to include.
it somehow edits out the selfie stick that you can hold onto while you film yourself from the front. you can still see the shadow of the selfie stick that i am holding.
I had some holographic skatehive stickers made and they arrived in the mail and they look great!
please DM me on discord with your mailing address if you are part of the skatehive community and i will send you some!!

i stumbled upon this flyer last week when i was at a local video premier
i thought it was interesting that they used the thrasher font, as i did for the skatehive stickers. this made me wonder if maybe the person involved is like-minded to me.
i also thought it would be rad to cover the skate race, post it on skatehive and tell a bunch of people about WEB3 skate communities.
So i messaged the guy from the premier and he sent me the guys number. turns out he runs an organization called GoGrindChicago which hosts free contests and skate schools.
heres the other crazy coincidence. he told me that his other gig is running stoked.org
so i might volunteer with them and spread our message of WEB3 blockchain shredding.
