Solar Eclipse Disc Golf Session - Old Settlers Park
the journey into the path of totality this time, allowed us to visit a pro-level course.
i am in no way a pro but a course designed by a pro is a good course. i also familiarized myself with a sweet mobile app called Udisc. it has all the courses on it and the maps of the courses, rating, and photos. you can even connect with other users via bluetooth and when you each keep track of your own score it updates on each others phone. its sweet.
anyway, the course was rated "very difficult" which it was. there were a lot of pipeline shots where you have to sendit through a channel of trees. if your aim is off it goes into the woods and then you have to go look for it.
sometimes lookling for a disc is really a bummer and you end up just giving up and calling the disc "lost" but that didnt happen to me. i only have two discs so i make sure i dont lose track of it. i run after it like a dog if i have to, to keep my eye on it.
anyway. i played with Sof and Greg my dads friends and now im inspired and stoked to play more disc golf. i need some homies that want to play so i can make more video edits like this one.
I forgot to track my score on hole 10 for some reason. this caused my record to show an incomplete round. thats ok. i plan to make more rounds with this app. its so cool! i wish i had more frisbee golf friends. this is a good activity for when i retire skating lol
i dont know if you can connect with other people on udisc with the free version or not. you can if you are in close proximity but idk if you can like view other peoples profiles and stuff. like other Hivers who play disc golf. im still kind of new to the app. its crazy how it tracks your throws and the distance of each one if you want i to. shout out to the disc golfers on hive! @davedickeyyall
