Let's talk about something I have never talked about before on Hive.. delicious Spanish food adventure in Chiang Mai! I know what you're thinking, "Spanish food in Thailand? Is that even a thing?" Well, it's all thanks to the House of Paella Thailand. This is probably my first time trying Spanish food in Thailand and my 2nd time trying Spanish food in my life. I'm judging this based on my taste bud and not by how the actual Spanish food would taste like.

First things first, the seafood paella. . The rice was perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of flavor. And the seafood was fresh, juicy, and cooked to perfection.

Now, I have to admit, the food was a bit bland for my taste. But don't worry, I took matters into my own hands and asked for some spicy to put in. They cut me some fresh chili! That's what I call service!!! Thai service! Which country would cut you chilis when you ask for more spices LOL! Now, don't judge me for how I eat paella. I know some of you purists out there might be cringing, but I like my food with a little bit of spice. Sue me.

The service was top-notch as well. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, always making sure we had everything we needed. It's always a good sign when the staff is just as excited about the food as you are.

The location's super easy to find and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. It's the perfect spot for a date night or a casual dinner with friends. Right in Nimman Chiang Mai, can't be more accessable than this!

We also tried the cold omelette and the fried potato with creamy sauce. The omelette wasn't really my thing, but the potato was okay. But let's be real, we were there for the paella :D

All in all, I would definitely come back to the House of Paella Thailand. I want to give the paella another try and see if I can love it even more (and they seem to be the only Spanish place around the area :D). So, if you're ever in Chiang Mai and looking for a delicious Spanish food experience, make sure to check out House of Paella Thailand. Until next time, happy eating!
