Battle

The ruleset for this battle is BLOOD AND SUNDER (All units receive additional CORROSIVE WARD ability), EVEN STEVENS (Only allowed to use units that have even Mana), and UP TO ELEVEN (All units receive additional AMPLIFY ability).

I again used Berix Snakeye as in the previous post. Not only him, I also brought Rage which is also a WEAPONS TRAINING unit. The reason is that they both have even Mana and the amount of Mana provided is also quite a lot so I can use 2 WEAPONS TRAINING units at once.

Another reason is that the type of Attack power they give to No-Attack units will not be affected by the BLOOD AND SUNDER ruleset, which only deals damage to Melee units that have armor.

In the first round, Scavo Chemist cleared debuffs on Arkemis the Bear using the CLEANSE ability. Then he along with Arkemis the Bear, Rage, and Iidri Fyre defeated Cursed Windeku. In that attack, Arkemis the Bear lost all of his ARMOR due to the effects of the ruleset's CORROSIVE WARD and Cursed Windeku's THORNS .

While on the opposing side, Supply Runner, Venari Bonesmith, Magi Necrosi, and Magi of Chaos managed to defeat Iidri Fyre. However, all opposing units also took damage from Iidri Fyre's REDEMPTION ability which caused them to lose 1 ARMOR.

The first-place Arahne Thug attacked Arkemis the Bear and put him into RAGE mode which increased his Attack power and SPEED by 1.5 times. Arachne Thug also lost his ARMOR due to the effects of CORROSIVE WARD. Runeseer Sevaya repairs Arkemis the Bear's ARMOR and attacks Arachne Thug along with Berix Snakeye.

In the second round, Arachne Thug was defeated by Arkemis the Bear. However, Arkemis the Bear had to permanently lose all of his ARMOR due to the effects of his CORROSIVE WARD ability. Magi Necrosi who took his place was also immediately defeated by the attacks of Scavo Chemist who used his Range and Magic Attack.

The Magi of Chaos was defeated by attacks from Runeseer Sevaya, Rage, and Berix Snakeye. But before losing, he along with Supply Runner and Venari Bonesmith attacked Arkemis the Bear.

In the last round, Supply Runner who couldn't attack because he was in first place lost to Arkemis the Bear. Meanwhile, Venari Bonesmith who took his place lost to Savo Chemist and Rage.

Battle Review

Both sides want to get their turn to attack first. This can be seen from the Summoners and units chosen, some of which have abilities that affect speed. Both teams also make the same mistake where they don't debuff their opponent's Magic units and don't anticipate it by bringing units that can limit the attacks of Magic units.

Luckily, I decided to use Iidri Fyre to divert the attacks of most of the opponent's units so that Arkemis the Bear could survive longer and the opponent lost 1 ARMOR simultaneously due to REDEMPTION ability. The use of 2 WEAPONS TRAINING units is also very helpful to cover the loss of 1 unit defeated in just 1 round. With them, Scavo Chemist can attack twice and cover the gap left by Iidri Fyre.
