Why I like ReFi

Just before the Covid-19 pandemic, in 2020 I joined a cryptocurrency community called SEEDS as crypto sustainability, food security, and permaculture regeneration. That was my first experience with regenerative finance (ReFi) and later I came to read more about ReFi and what it means in general.

What I like about ReFi is the case of using crypto for something else and more important for the planet than just earning money and capital. The thing is that I am not against people using crypto to earn money and enrich themselves. This is because crypto is one of the methods for reducing poverty and increasing wealth worldwide. With ReFi, cryptocurrencies, communities, and initiatives can do more of non-economic and regenerative goals.

Basically, ReFi is a decentralized green post-capitalist economy in practice. It is also a way to disprove and go against critics of crypto who often argue that crypto is bad for the climate.
