Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, thanks to our friend @melinda010100 for inviting us to this initiative in her Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest – Round 433.

A Shadowed Welcome at the Rock House

One of the places I pass by every day is the Rock House, a 24-hour snack bar inside the hotel. Although it is currently closed due to the lack of guests, its entrance still has something that catches my attention every morning.

Before reaching the doorway, the shadows of several coconut palms stretch across the pavement as if they were welcoming everyone who arrives. The morning sun projects their leaves with remarkable clarity, creating a tropical scene that perfectly matches the atmosphere of this part of the hotel.

I found it curious that, even in the absence of the usual activity, nature continues to play its part. The Rock House may be waiting for better times, but the coconut palms never fail to offer their shade. Their shadows remain there every day, silently welcoming anyone who happens to walk by.

Una bienvenida bajo la sombra en el Rock House

Uno de los lugares por donde paso cada día es el Rock House, un establecimiento de comida que funciona las 24 horas dentro del hotel. Aunque en estos momentos permanece cerrado debido a la ausencia de turistas, su entrada sigue teniendo algo que llama mi atención cada mañana.

Antes de llegar a la puerta, las sombras de varios cocoteros se extienden sobre el pavimento como si dieran la bienvenida a quienes llegan. El sol de la mañana proyecta con gran nitidez las hojas, creando una escena muy tropical que combina perfectamente con el ambiente de esta zona del hotel.

Me resultó curioso que, incluso sin la actividad de otros tiempos, la naturaleza continúe haciendo su parte. El Rock House espera tiempos mejores, pero los cocoteros nunca dejan de ofrecer su sombra. Cada mañana sus siluetas permanecen allí, dando una silenciosa bienvenida a quien pase por ese lugar.
