Department’s General Assembly
The assembly was fun — it was filled with laughter because even if only few students attended, they were all hyped. We had ice breaker which made it more hyped and made the students attentive. The hosts also did their job of making the crowd continue engaging with the program.
It also featured the presentation of accomplishment reports, reflecting the department’s milestones and achievements. Matters on penalties and attendance were also discussed to uphold accountability and order.
The Calendar of Activities was presented, giving everyone a clear view of the exciting events that await us this academic year. Another highlight was the formal introduction of the APS Council, presenting the student leaders who will serve and represent the Psychology community.
One of the amazing highlights was the future plans of the department. It truly ignited our sparks and strengthen our urge to do our best to help contribute to our department’s growth.
After the program, we, the officers, gathered for a little reward for ourselves. We ended the day with a slice bread and sandwich spread in which somehow helped us ease the tiredness we felt. After cleaning the venue, we immediately departed and went home.
It was tiring because of hours of preparation and doing our designated jobs — especially the aftermath of the event. However, I couldn’t deny the fact that I enjoyed what I was doing during the event.
