Sixth Grade Softball Memories
We are going to talk about a memory during my school days specifically when I was in my sixth grade, well, it feels like the memory of that time feels like yesterday and I want to share this to you.
One of the best memory that I had during my sixth grade was that every time that we had a break, we will play a little softball. Yes, we played softball although we only a ball and a branch of the tree that we picked up from the trees.
We are all set if we have those two since that's the local softball that we played together. That time, we were playing softball during lunch time, break time, free time, or even if the teacher is absent.
We will just go in the oval because our oval which was a few meters away from our classroom, and then setup our softball game. There were only two teams, one team was the offensive and the other was the defensive.
So, we played again and again and in fact, we just enjoyed the game of softball. Until there's a time that one of my classmate was a girl pitcher and the hitter was a boy. Then the pitcher throw the ball straight to the hitter and the hitter hit the ball straight to the pitcher.
It went straight to the face of the pitcher (which was the girl) and then after hitting to the face, the pitcher then went down because I think it was hurting a lot since the hitter hit it very hard.
Now, when we saw what happened, we went to our pitcher friend and then we saw on where did it hit. It actually it on one of the pitcher's eyes. When we saw her, we saw a circle spot around her eyes indicating that was the location where it hit the ball to her.
We, then, stop playing since one of our classmate got hurt and we treat her and went to the classroom. We just enjoyed the rest of the day playing around the classroom since there was one of our classmate had injured from the game.
